Creature from the Black Lagoon Pinball was designed by John Trudea (“Dr. Flash”) and released by Bally/Williams in 1992. The game’s theme is the same as the movie’s name.

The theme and setting of the game are in the 1950’s drive-in theatre. The game has a holographic creature that is set against a green plastic insert which makes the monster appear green. It is the primary feature of this game. During multi-ball play, the monster lights up and waves its “hand” back and forth. As Creature from the Black Lagoon Pinball was licensed by Bally from Universal Studios, pinball machine components look like the original movie actors and monsters as the movie characters. There are three goals of the game: Start the Movie; Search for and Rescue the Girl; and Get Jackpots and Super Jackpots.
