Dig Dug Classic Arcade Game rental or also called Taizo Hori. It has an animation that is brightly colored as well as tunes that are catchy—released by Atari, Inc. in 1982.
The reason for the development of the game was that the player would find it better and more fun when he or she makes his or her mazes. He is a spelunker wielding a pump and has various enemies as he keeps digging underground. Each level consists of having him clear off his enemies before they kill him.
The enemies are killed in a very novel way. Taizo Hori, the main character, attaches a pump to the enemies and pushes the button to fill them with air till they finally explode. Another method of eliminating the enemies is by digging under boulders. This way, these boulders are loosened and can be dropped on the enemies who are below the boulders. In addition to killing enemies, there are other methods of scoring. You can also score points by including a fruit or any item in the center of the screen. These appear when two of the level boulders are dropped. This game is similar to Pac-man.
The enemies one has to contend with in the game are Pooka, which is a round orange ball with dark glasses. He can attack from any angle and can pass the undug dirt in the levels. The more difficult enemy, however, is Fygar, who is dragon-like and passes through dirt, and can breathe fire.
