Defender Classic Arcade Game became well known for two things. The first was for its highest-grossing and the second for being extremely difficult to beat. If you think you can complete this game, rent it right now and see for yourself. The game is a horizontally scrolling shoot-them-up 80’s classic arcade game. Williams Electronics designed and released the game throughout the arcades in the United States in 1981.
This game takes place on a fictional planet. The player can side scroll a gun at the bottom of the screen while shooting at the waves of aliens coming from the top. You have to destroy all the aliens. Protecting the astronauts was also an objective. On doing this successfully, the player gets to the next level with increased difficulty. There are a total of three lives. On coming in contact with an alien or its projectile, one life is lost. On losing all three, the game is over!
