BurgerTime Arcade Game is a classic single-player 80’s arcade game available for event rental. The game was initially released in Japan in 1982 called “Hamburger.” The game was developed and released by legendary Japanese arcade maker Data East. In the United States, the game was rebranded to BurgerTime and released by Bally Midway under a license from Data East company.
BurgerTime Arcade Game is a cute and exciting game; the player is chef Peter Pepper and must complete several hamburgers while avoiding enemy foods like Mr. Hot Dog, Me. Pickle and Mr. Egg. To make it more challenging, there are several levels consisting of a maze of planks and ladders in which giant ingredients are laid out. Finally, a burger is completed when all of the ingredients drop out of the maze onto a waiting plate. Bon Appetite.
After its original release in Japan, Hamburger Arcade Game was one of the highest-earning games of 1982. Following its release in the United States in November 1982, it was listed as the fourth best game. The game was labeled as the “stupidest, silliest game ever, and that’s why you couldn’t get people off the BurgerTime game with a crowbar!”
