The Getaway: High Speed II Pinball was released in 1992 by Williams Games. The game was designed by the legendary pinball designer Steve Ritchie. The game is a sequel to 1986’s High Speed Pinball.
The Getaway: High Speed II Pinball gameplay is based on the predecessor High Speed Pinball, with a few minor changes. The goal of the gameplay is to Run the Red Light by first locking three balls. First green, then yellow and last red. After the final lock, the multiball starts. Another exciting feature in the game is Redline Mania. The players will be awarded different bonuses by continuously shooting the outer loop, also called RPM.
Another exciting feature is a video mode, where the player is steering the car through the freeway with cars and police yelling at him, “Pull Over”! The player can continue until they crash or pass several cars.
